In January we celebrated Kate’s birthday and although we weren’t at school, her friends sent her lovely birthday messages on seesawπππππ
In February Zara also celebrated her birthday at home. Luckily her friends were able to send her lovely birthday messages also. πππππ
It has been lovely to see all the boys and girls settling back into school life and they have been super busy these last two weeks.
This week we did an experiment to show the importance of washing our hands πππ
We used a bowl of water, pepper to represent germs and handsoap.
We added the pepper to the water and dipped in our finger which resulted in the pepper -(germs) sticking to our finger.
We repeated this process after dipping our finger in the handsoap. When we touched the pepper (germs) they immediately dispersed away from the soap and our finger came out clean this time.
The children thought this was magic but after dome discussion they realised its actually science!
Why not try this at home βΊοΈππππ
We had great fun doing Halloween art, listening to Halloween stories & songs, carving our pumpkin and dressing up in our costumes too.
Birthdays
We celebrated Fiadh and Robynβs 5th birthdays in October. We sang βHappy Birthdayβ, the girls wore the birthday hat and received a prize from the prize box. They also received a special birthday certificate from Ms Brennan & Mrs Gillogley. ππππππππ
