History projects on the buildings in Collooney
Happy Easter from 3rd Class B
In Science, we have been exploring our locality. On a beautiful spring afternoon, we went for a walk around our area. We visited the park in Collooney and a housing estate to observe and record the features found in a natural and built up environment.
The Butterfly Lion
In English we have been studying the novel The Butterfly Lion by Michael Murpurgo. In Art, we painted lions inspired by the paintings of LeRoy Neiman. In Drama, we used the technique of conscience alley to discuss why Bertie’s family should/ shouldn’t sell the lion.
