Sports Day 🏀⚽️
Weather permitting our annual school sports day will go ahead tomorrow the 8th of June.
Fresh Today 🍎🍊🍌
Over the past few weeks, 6th class have been working on presentations in relation to the food company Fresh Today who supply our hot lunches here in school. 🍲
We are all really enjoying the hot lunches, however 6th class wanted to present some new ideas, suggestions and feedback to Ken Horgan when the opportunity arose.
Last Wednesday, he arrived into 6th class to listen to their suggestions. They got the opportunity to share their presentations and to interview Ken with questions the class had prepared. 📝
Ken was thrilled with the effort and detail 6th class put into their presentations and questionnaires. He is now going to share the presentations created by 6th class at the next board meeting at the Fresh Today headquarters and to top it off – 6th class are going to be involved via Zoom! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
We are so proud of 6th class and the amazing work they put into this project. A huge well done to all involved 👏🏻🤩
New Extension 👷🏻
After a long wait, work has finally started on our new extension. Exciting things ahead for Scoil Mhuire agus Iosaf. 🏫
Active Flag
The younger classes are really enjoying having our Playground Leaders on yard for break time.
They have taught the children so many new games that require little to no equipment. It is a huge success so far. ⚽️🏀🎖
Thank you again to Mr. Higgins and his 5th class pupils for their help in setting this up.
