Since March sixth class were taking part in Fisheries Ireland Educational Programme, “Something Fishy”
As part of this programme the class have been studying the lifecycle of the Atlantic Salmon. They recently took part in a field trip to Riverstown to visit the Unshin River and were provided with the opportunity to create a project under this years theme “Life on the river”.
This project was submitted May 26th and last night we received word that we won the Sligo division and will be awarded a €250 IT voucher for the school 🥳🥳
Furthermore, the project then proceeded to the “All Ireland Final” where we also won and will be awarded a further €500 voucher for IT equipment!!! 🥳🤩🤩
