Cave Paintings

We learned about how the Stone Age people drew on cave walls. There are many examples of their drawings/paintings to be seen around the world. One example that really impressed us was handprints found in Argentina. We tried to replicate this artwork by having a go at creating our own handprints. As you can see from the smiles on our faces we had great fun 🤩👏👏

Our Superhaireo 💇🏻‍♀️

Lauren Mooney in 3rd class donated her 16” long hair to the Little Princess Trust last week. As you can see from the photos her hair was so so long. We think she is absolutely brilliant and such a generous thing to do this for this wonderful charity. Lauren’s support allows the charity to give hair and hope to children and young people by providing wigs and funding vital research into children’s cancer. Well done Lauren you are a super star 💫 💫💫💫

Budding Artists

Look at our wonderful artwork. We drew our self portraits, painted autumn trees and created autumn 🍂 artwork using leaves. The children had a great time and we look forward to more fun in our art lessons.

Internet Safety Talk

On Thursday, we enjoyed a talk on Internet Safety with Jeremy via Zoom. It was a very, very interesting talk and it made us become more aware of how we can be safe when online and using Social Media!

Fáilte go Rang a Trí

We are delighted to be in 3rd Class and up at School B. We love our new room and there is loads of space on yard too! We have been really busy getting ready for our Communion but we have been doing other work too 😊.

One big change this year has to be the school lunches. They are super tasty and nice and warm for this time of the year. Here are a few photographs of us enjoying our lunch sitting in our new groups for October.

Congratulations 3rd Class

We had a wonderful day celebrating our 1st Holy Communion. It was a very special day and we will treasure those memories forever. We would like to thank our Mammies and Daddies for everything they do for us. A special thank you to Fr. Pat for all his help on the day. Finally a big thank you to our teachers, Ms. Hickey, Mrs. Muldoon, Ms. Lineen, Tanya and Rebecca for all your help.
