This line from poet Art O’ Shaughnessy could be used to describe the process of making music with children.
We are very lucky to have the Music Generation tutors working with all classes this year. Most classes have begun at this stage and I’m sure you are hearing at home what a wonderful experience it is. There are a range of opportunities including percussion, voice, keyboard, violin and a general immersion into discovering the wonderful world of music.
Music is a powerful medium through which the child’s overall learning experience is enhanced.
We are all excited to see the progress the children will make this year with Music Generation and are looking forward to sharing the experience with the wider public over time.
