In Science, we had great fun exploring static electricity. We learnt about how static electricity is created and looked at the different parts of an atom. We then carried out some experiments to investigate the effects of static electricity using a balloon. As you can see from the pictures below, we had some pretty hair raising results! We also discovered that when we rubbed the balloon on our hair it could pick up pieces of paper.
