We explored how primary colours mix to create secondary colours.
We thought about which colours are “warm” or “cool”.
We followed this by making a rainbow in a jar – the colours didn’t mix at all, it looked great!
We looked at different reactions between solids and liquids.
We discovered that some liquids were heavier than others and some created an exciting reaction with others – like the mentos and coke experiment and the ‘elephant toothpaste’ we made using yeast, hydrogen peroxide and warm water. They were both explosive!
